Footballers Wives star Zoe Lucker voted off Strictly Come Dancing

Footballer's Wives star Zoe Lucker was voted off Strictly Come Dancing after head judge Len Goodman was forced to cast the deciding vote. The actress and her dance partner James Jordon found themselves in a dance-off with Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna despite a high score of 32. Head judge Len Goodman said: "I know the viewers can do what they like and it's a popularity contest but this is ludicrous. It's nonsensical. There's five couples that are worse than these."

Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood both voted to save The Bill actress Bastian, while Alesha Dixon threw her head in her hands before giving her vote to Lucker. The two worst performing couples, Ricky Grove and Erin Boag, and Craig Kelly with Flavia Cacace, were saved by the public. Lucker said she had "had an amazing time".

"I have loved being here," she added. Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle and partner Natalie Lowe received the highest praise of the night, receiving 39 out of 40.
