Grandmother celebrates driving test success after 949 failures
It was a case of 950th time lucky for South Korean grandmother Cha Sa-soon as she finally passed the first part of her driving test. The 68-year-old decided in 2005 that she needed a car to help her business. Brazilian bricklayer attends own funeral after night out
A Brazilian man stunned his family when he turned up alive and well at his own funeral. Relatives of Ademir Jorge Goncalves identified him as the victim of a car crash in the state of Parana on Sunday, reports O Globo. Buddhist bank robber banned from seeing cat
A German bank robber is getting used to life without his mother after a court banned her from visiting him in jail - because she is a cat. Many notorious criminals are famous for loving their mums, but Peter Keonig has a very different relationship with his mother than the one enjoyed by the likes of the Kray twins. Man accidentally ejects himself from aircraft
An aircraft passenger has escaped unharmed after he blasted himself out of the plane accidentally. A civilian man in South Africa was enjoying a ride with a trained pilot during an air display when the plane went into a particularly steep manoeuvre. Police confuse actors with hooligans
Blundering police officers are to apologise to six actors after mistakenly including them in a group of photos of rioting football fans. The actors all starred in the Nick Love-directed The Firm, a remake of a 1980s film about a football hooligan gang released in September.
