Harry Potter star 'victim of swine flu'

Harry Potter star Rupert Grint took a week out from filming after falling victim to swine flu. The 20-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley in the films, had a "mild bout" of swine flu, according to his publicist, but is now back on the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. "He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members," his publicist said.

"Other scenes were shot in his absence which did not require his involvement and thus filming was not disrupted," she added. Grint's doctor confirmed the actor was no longer contagious and was able to return and will be well enough to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday. The latest film in the series is released in the UK on July 15th.
