Mystery surrounds circles on Russian lake
A lake in Siberia has become the focus of international attention after pictures taken from the International Space Station revealed the appearance of mysterious circles. The shots, which show the ice on the lake breaking up with the circles at the epicentre, were taken last month when the station was above Lake Baikal. Japanese author writes story on toilet roll
With various electronic books now available, many may believe that a story in paperback is old news. However, in a new twist on the way people read books, world-famous Japanese author Koji Suzuki has created a story on a roll of loo paper. Feral child discovered in Siberia
A feral child who has lived her entire life with little company other than that of dogs and cats has been discovered in Russia. The girl, who is called Natasha, reportedly laps food from a bowl and only communicates through animal-like noises. Wolf t-shirt becomes Amazon's biggest seller
A t-shirt featuring three wolves has become one of Amazon's biggest sellers after a number of tongue-in-cheek reviews. The black t-shirt, which has a picture of three wolves howling at the moon on it, has seen a sales increase of 2,300 per cent in the past few weeks. Hundreds of people have posted reviews in response to the first comment about the top, claiming that it is "intrinsically sweet" because of the wolves and that it attracts women. Skydiver survives 6,000ft fall
A British skydiver has survived a 6,000 foot fall down a mountainside after his parachute failed to open. James Boole, a 31-year-old semi-professional skydiver from Staffordshire, told the Sun about how he cheated death on a Russian mountainside. Following a communication problem with another skydiver, the ripcord for his parachute was pulled only seconds before Mr Boole hit the ground and he suffered a broken back, bruised ribs and chipped teeth upon impact.
