British supercar on show in London

This year's MPH Show will feature a car that is faster than anything even James May has driven. Top Gear's Captain Slow took the Bugatti Veyron to its maximum speed of 253mph on Volkswagen's test track in one of the hit BBC2 show's most memorable features. However, Bugatti's supercar is no longer the fastest production car available.
The record now belongs to the SSC Ultimate Aero at 257mph, but British automaker Keating Supercars believes it is about to set a new mark. Its TKR, complete with 7.0-litre engine, has already been recorded at 260.1mph but needs to replicate the feat to become the official record holder.
Fast car enthusiasts will be able to see the Keating TKR at the MPH Show, which gets underway at Earls Court, London on November 5th 2009. May will be on hand to check out the British supercar, as the event also includes Top Gear Live, as well as exhibits from manufacturers such as Pagani, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Spyker. Is there a point to supercars?
