Car stolen every five minutes in Britain
One car is stolen in the UK every five minutes. This is the shocking finding from ITV's UK Car Crime programme, which highlights the fact that increasing numbers of people are at risk of purchasing a stolen vehicle. Lexus ranks highest for customer service satisfaction
Customers buying a car from Lexus are the most satisfied when it comes to customer service. This is according to the Which? car dealer satisfaction survey, which revealed that Lexus topped the poll for the fifth year in succession. Skoda Motorsport wins Czech Rally
The Skoda brand continues to go from strength to strength after the manufacturer secured victory at the Czech Rally in Zlin. It was Skoda Motorsport's fifth appearance at 2009's Intercontinental Rally Challenge, with Jan Kopecky and Petr Stary winning the event, which was in its 39th year. DS3 to be unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show
Citroen's new DS3 will be unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, it has been confirmed. The manufacturer is promising a "radical take" on the urban vehicle concept, with the DS3 set to be the first model in Citroen's all-new DS range. Promising a "bespoke and refined driving experience", the DS3 highlights Citroen's 'creative technologie' while remaining environmentally-friendly thanks to its fuel-efficient engine. Peugeot 107 best placed to fight off depreciation
The Peugeot 107 is the best car in Britain in terms of protection against depreciation. This is according to the latest residual values 'top ten' from Glass's Guide, which revealed that the French-manufactured vehicle has retained 60.9 per cent of its original list price after three years. It came ahead of the second-placed Toyota Aygo (60.2 per cent) and third-placed Suzuki Swift (59.5 per cent), with the 107's success attributed to the car's high fuel efficiency and low vehicle excise duty. Drivers warned to check fuel levels when travelling long distances
Increasing numbers of drivers are running out of fuel while travelling on the motorway. This is according to the Highways Agency, which is encouraging people to check their fuel levels before getting behind the wheel. High-spec Honda Civic 5-door in UK this September
An updated version of the Honda Civic 5-door is to be made available to British motorists next month. The new Si grade will be optional for all variants of the 5-door model and will feature a number of sporty extras. Bentley Mulsanne set to be unveiled at Pebble Beach
Luxury marque Bentley has announced its intention to publicly debut its new flagship model at the Pebble Beach Concours D'Elegance in Monterey, California. The Mulsanne is a luxury grand tourer that has been inspired by one of the company's most famous cars - the 1930 eight-litre, which was owned by its founder W O Bentley. Honda Fireblade scoops top honour
Honda's iconic superbike, the Fireblade, has been crowned Fast Bikes' Sportsbike of the Year. The latest incarnation of the speed machine, the CBR1000RR, beat away stiff competition from Yamaha and Suzuki to take home the prestigious accolade for the second successive year.
