Aston Martin unveils city hatchback
In what could be the most surprising car news of the year, Aston Martin has pulled the covers off of a new urban hatchback. The Cygnet, which has been developed with Toyota, is a commuter car which is similar in size to the iQ and could be in production "in the not too distant future". What can be expected of the Aston city-car? Well, according to the company, great fuel efficiency, a compact size, Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating and the prestige of the company's luxury brand. New Ferraris bound for Goodwood
Fans of the prancing horse have got much to look forward to at the 2009 Goodwood Festival of Speed, as Ferrari is set to showcase three new models. During the Sunday Times Supercar Run, Ferrari will drive the HGTE version of the 599 GTB Fiorano, the Scuderia Spider 16M and its first ever front-engined V8, the California. Brits love their cars, new survey shows
When Basil Fawlty attacked his car with a tree branch the fictional hotelier epitomised the frustration many British drivers have felt when let down by a motor. Hydrogen car 'can do 300mpg'
A new hydrogen-powered car that can do the petrol equivalent of 300 miles per gallon has been unveiled. The Riversimple Urban two-seater can reach a top speed of 50 miles per hour and has a range of 240 kilometers. The innovative ideas don't stop there, however, as the company plans to make the designs for the new eco-car open source, so anybody can download them for free and build their own version of the vehicle.
