Audi A4 breaks biogas speed record
A new world record for the fastest biogas-fuelled car has been set. Driver Jurgen Hohenester managed to hit 227 miles per hour (mph) in an Audi A4, beating the previous record set by Bugatti. Fastest Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution hits UK shores
A Mitsubishi that is faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo will come to the UK next month. The FQ-400 boasts a top speed of 155 miles per hour (mph) and the ability to go from zero to 62mph in just 3.8 seconds. Top Gear Live tickets to go on sale
Car enthusiasts are being reminded that tickets for MPH featuring Top Gear Live go on sale next Monday. From 9am on June 1st, tickets for the popular event at Earls Court and the Birmingham NEC will go on sale and are likely to be snapped up quickly. 'Good looking' electric car unveiled by Swiss company
The various complaints from motoring fans about the appearance of electric cars suggest that the eco-credentials of these vehicles vastly outweigh their aesthetic qualities. Now, Swiss company Brusa has created an automobile that it believes will give the street credibility of electric cars a much needed boost. Aston Martin names two Brit racers for Le Mans
As a driving endurance test, Le Mans 24 Hour race is one of the toughest. Now, Aston Martin has announced that it will run three cars at this year's event to mark the 50th anniversary of the automobile maker's first victory in the race at La Sarthe. Ferrari sold at auction for €9m
A 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa has become the most expensive car ever to be sold at auction. Selling for 9,020,000 (£7,943,000), the car beat the previous world record by nearly 2,000,000. Lexus designs Remote Touch device for RX 450h SUV
Many of the world's most desirable cars now feature cutting edge interactive features, but controlling them while also trying to control the car isn't always straightforward. In response, Lexus has created a centralised control system for its latest offering, which allows drivers to browse on-board entertainment, information and navigation systems with ease. Army to opt for hybrid Toyota Prius?
The British Army are the latest group to attempt to get to grips with hybrid car technology. A total of 50 Toyota Priuses have been ordered by HRH's Armed Forces in an effort to cut CO2 emissions. Car auction values highest in over a year
Now may be the perfect time for those looking to sell a second hand car. The latest figures from British Car Auctions (BCA) show that the average value of a car rose by £59 in just one month from March to April this year. Star Trek teams up with Chrysler for holiday competition
The launch of the latest Star Trek film has been a huge deal all over the world - now Chrysler fans have the opportunity to cash in on the movie.
