Coronation Street's Kym Marsh reunited with Jamie Lomas

One of the soap world's most glamorous couples, Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and ex-Hollyoaks actor Jamie Lomas, are back together. Kym, who plays barmaid Michelle Connor in the ITV1 soap, announced the news as she collected the Bounty Celebrity Mum of the Year award at a ceremony in Manchester. The couple have endured a tough year, losing their prematurely-born baby son Archie Jay and subsequently deciding to end their 15-month relationship.

However, they have finally been able to reveal some good news. Kym, who has two children from a previous relationship, said: "Yes we are back together. Jamie has got a son of his own and he is a very good father - but he can't win Celebrity Mum of the Year!" The 33-year-old former Hear'Say singer's relationship with her children - David, 14, and Emily, 11 - has enabled her to earn an enviable record of success in mothering competitions, as Kym also collected Tesco Magazine's Celebrity Mum of the Year trophy in 2008.
