The brothers - dubbed 'Jedward' by the media - found themselves in the bottom two along with solo singer Olly Murs but saw their remarkable ride come to an end on Sunday evening. With Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh unsurprisingly voting to save their own acts, the choice was left to Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue.

Blur's Glastonbury appearance this summer has been named the best headline performance of the year. The band's first appearance at the Somerset farm since 1998 scooped the prize at the UK festival awards on Thursday.
