Michael Jacksons father plans to create Jackson Three

Michael Jackson's father Joe is reportedly planning to convince the singer's children to tour the world as the Jackson Three. Joe Jackson commented on the musical abilities of Prince Michael 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II - known as Blanket - after their father's memorial service in Los Angeles last week. And despite claims other members of the Jackson family fear the patriarch could "exploit" his grandchildren, the 79-year-old is believed to be drawing up plans for the children to tour.

Speaking after his son's memorial service last week, he commented: "I don't know. I keep watching Paris. She wants to do something. And as far as I can see, well, they say Blanket, he can really dance."

Michael Jackson's biographer Ian Halperin has since told the Sun newspaper the former Jackson Five manager wants to take the three children on a 2010 world tour. "He has also already offered recording contracts to two of Michael's kids," he added. "Now he is talking about getting them the world's best backing band and taking them on tour as the Jackson Three."

Halperin added a source close to the Jackson family was considering speaking out against Joe's alleged plans out of concern for the children's wellbeing. "One of the family members is livid. He is saying Joe seems intent to do this no matter what," he added.

"He wants to exploit the kids the same way he did Michael." Jackson's song Man in the Mirror reached number three in the UK singles chart on Sunday while four of the top five albums were Jackson releases.
