Katona and hubby to release fitness DVD?

Tumultuous couple Kerry Katona and Mark Croft are planning perhaps the most surprising release of the year – a fitness video. The couple are keen to shed excess weight and think filming their new regime could earn them some much needed cash, according to the People. In 2008, Katona was declared bankrupt and is said by the newspaper to be looking to raise funds.

The pair are now attempting to decide on who will lead the fitness programme, with Kerry opting for her personal trainer Scott Wright. However, husband Mark wants to feature on the DVD and have it led by a cohort at his own gym. A friend of Katona told the People: "Mark thinks the DVD will be more successful if he is on it."

Katona is said to be desperate to shed weight after piling on the pounds due to a junk-food diet. This comes only a year after the star underwent £15,000 worth of plastic surgery to give her a svelte size ten figure. She then posed for several glossy magazine shoots showing off her new physique but has failed to keep the weight off.

Do you think the pair will be able to get in shape?
